今年的25岁生日没什么特别，只是对自已好了一点点，给自已送上一份礼物。那就是买进了一张G13送给自已。以经把这股放进小弟的投资组合，还会继续加码！

希望三年后这礼物会是很大很大一份！

回顾2011年我的“IPO” （Initial Public Offering）成绩单：

IPO 称为 = 首次公开招股

这一年一共参与了五个“IPO”抽签,可是我只有幸的抽到一个而以。那就是保绿美公司（Boilermech）也就是全利资源子公司（QL Resource）。这不是在抽奖拿礼物，而是用资金去参股做投资。

原来我是保绿美公司的小老板............ ：）

这股到目前还是收在我的保险箱,好让这股变金又生金。希望三年可以做到。

2012年还会有很多新公司上市, 我当然会找机会去参与一份，哪也要看是不是好公司。打算当天卖掉一点,好让手上的票是免费的。这也要看有没有机会被抽到，和当天的股价表现。如果是好公司,那就不怕买和长收。

开番的理论就在“IPO”开始吧！

2012年起薪水！

拿到了2011年的“Review-Letter”。开了看看也不会临我失望，薪水起了13%。只是没有得“Promotion” 而以。在这公司作了18个月半，至少2011年的 “Appraisal” 好过2010年，也就是A+。

这也没什么开心的，我还是个打工仔。为了每个月的那个薪水，天天准时上班！

只想说，工继续打，继续走自己的目标，路还在摇远。给自已5年的时间！

~ 2011 年我的故事之回顾 ~

2011年就这样走过了，小弟在这一年里也不知不觉地学会了很多东西，很多知识，和很多做人的道理。也许这一年也算精彩和挑战的一年。

就在这里回顾一下，这一年小弟做过的事和走过的日子。

1. 打工日记

为了钱，为了生活，没天都在公司做上12个小时工。这都是为了claim多一点（OT）钱，那小弟就可以赚多一点钱做投资。就这样时间都卖给了公司，而换来的都是血汗钱。啊.....天啊！！！有钱不是万能，但没钱什麽都没得谈。现今的社会就是那麽现实，钱在做怪！有钱，人家眼光都比较看得起你。这不代表你/妳穷，小弟就看不起你/妳。

2. 股票投资

2011年是小弟踏进股市年。以想赚快钱的想法就不做工课地买进了CIMB和 PCHEM 这两只蓝筹股。在六月份和七月份给卖了！虽然赚了不是很多，但是也有RMXXX.00 一点点喝茶钱。到了今天小弟还是用有X00 units PCHEM 股权在小弟的投资组合里，打算在加码以收长久。

3. 追高IPO股！

在Smartag上市那天小弟以敢敢来的心态以0.38仙买进了5000股，然后以0.42仙卖了。就这样赚了一笔小钱。还好没把这股收到今天，不然就亏大钱 “大条lor” 还是想说别投机吧！

4. 阅读书箱

在这一年里小弟读了KLSE.8K和冷眼前配的书，这书让小弟被洗脑和清醒地不在投机股市。这一年里，这俩本书小弟最少读了三到四篇。果然是好书一本，读了都不会”sien”。这书也让小弟学会了很多关已股票投资的基本知识，什麽叫做EPS，PE，ROE，NTA，和 ParValue。这些至少小弟可以掌握在脑海里。

5. 期货

在公司认识了一位有玩期货（英文叫：Future）的朋友，就这样开始投入了这个高风险的投资。这年里有Short有Long马股指数，看回这一年的买卖记录小弟还是赚了一点点钱，也有RMXXX.00 “Pocket钱”。可是在开始玩的时后小弟输了RMXXXX.00。还好玩了几次后，钱慢慢地赢回来，不然血汗钱就这样玩蛋！回想过去……….还是投资走正道吧，买好股长收！对期货说不！

6. 股票投资组合

2011年总结小弟的股票投资组合，小弟还是纸上亏损RMXXXX.00。但是小弟还会在2012年继续加码这个投资组合。只要是好公司，就不怕收！先苦后甜。

7. 感情

跟一位女孩表白了，可是被Kick出场。说不伤心，那肯定是假的吧！想想回这件事，也不需要去在意，也没有需要在去坏念 ”NO VALUE!”。僻静Market上还有很多好货，慢慢来，别急！只怕没有资本而以。

8. 财物规划

这一年里小弟都不断地规划要怎样去得到更多被动收入，好让将来的生活过得更美好。也许自己把目标放得太高吧- 希望在35岁时可以退休。有目标，还有希望，等着看吧！

Rule of 72

The “Rule of 72” is a method to determine how long for an amount you invest will be double, by given a fixed annual rate of interest. This rule will quickly tell you how many years to make your money double by knowing the interest rate, all you need is by using this rule.

This can be easily calculate by using formula below:

Year to double up = 72 / Interest Rate

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For example:

With a constant 6% interest rate per annual, mean your money will need 72/6 = 12, 12 years to become double.

To make your money double in 6 years, mean you need 72/6 = 12, 12% per annual interest rate.

This rule also can be use for expenses such as inflation rate.

For example:

If inflation rates go from 2% to 3%, this means that your money will lose half its value in 36 or 24 years.

The value of Engineer Title

A fresh graduate engineer with a piece of Bachelor Degree, the monthly salary normally in Malaysia will be around 2.2k-3.28k Ringgit Malaysia. Only some of talented (maybe) people can get higher than 3k above/month. After deducted the EPF, SOCSO, and income tax, the amount will be around 2k++. I can't imagine how to survive with this such amount of monthly income if stay at Kuala Lumpur. For people that stay at Penang, maybe can consider this as enough only. As the living fee at Penang is much lower.

Really not dare to think about it for next 5 more year living expend, as the inflation rate is increasing.

My opinion is still Penang the best place to find a job and build up the career.

Working Life

Almost 4 months working, and already confirm as a permanent employee. Started love my job very much and enjoy the working life there, hopefully there will be better opportunity of my future in this company.

Last month was the crazy working hours in this company, which I work non-stop without any weekend rest and weekday work from 8am to 9pm. Obviously the time I'm staying at company is more than staying in home. If ask me rest one day at home and not go to company work, seriously I will started feel not comfortable.No doubt to say that I'm started addicted working !

Give me 3 years time to say "No" to Engineer working life. Ops! Should say not work for people !

As a employee, we can know how much we earn per year. Better find some solution to know how to make money generate money!

My Convocation 2010

Long time not updating my blog, since after start working. Time to write something and make this blog fresh back with my Convocation ceremony moment.

5 years of study, and finally I can declare my self as a engineer. Proud to say that I'm part of the second batch of B.Eng (Hons) Electronics Majoring in Nanotechnology graduated student.

Finally the dream to get the scroll from Tun Dr.Siti Hasmah is realize, since I always dream about it during the second years of my study (Gamma year). But the moment is too short, just about 3 minutes in stage which I spend 4 years to get it. The 3 minutes duration is such a wonderful moment of my life. Now just the picture that can keep it as my memory to refresh back.

Thank you to my best friends that attend to this convocation ceremony and take picture with me, It's such a wonderful moment to remember and appreciate.

Thanks lot to Sharon Chong, Lim Yong Ching, Lee Pin, Chee Kin, Sze Yaw, and William Ng for the flower and present, which you guys brighter up my first and second year of University life with Sing K, eat all the nice food in KL, hang around and some trip. Keep in touch buddy !

My favorite couple Jenny and William Tan, thanks so much for the book (How to make money from your stock investment even in a falling market). Hopefully this book will guide me to the dream of 35 years old retire. Let's realize it together. Will share with both of you when finish read the book. Waiting both of you convocation at 2011, stay tuned.

Thank you to the peoples that helping me during my 4 years studies in MMU. Your name will always remember in my mind.

Nano-Night, the night and the first gathering dinner with all the final year nano student 2009/2010. This gathering dinner is organize and plan by the lovely Burnett Ng. Really need to thanks him very much and most important thing is everyone of us are able to make it for such a big gathering with 30 person ++.

The most valuable thing of that night is we able to invite our lovely, nice and greats lecture, Dr. Ong.B.H. He also bring up his family including wife and the two cute cute kids too, together join us for this gathering.

Our gathering is started up with watching movie, IP Man 2 at the Curve. After that head on to the dinner gathering (Marche), and time to meet up each other. When finish the dinner, we decide to have some drink at Library, the place like a pub but decoration is look like library environment. After that is time for us to say bye bye to each others, but some of us still don't want back Cyber, and end up with supper at Murni SS2.

There will be more gathering among the final semester FOE student coming soon. As planning, the coming gathering will held at Pork Dickson BBQ, and Skytrek Adventure.

Attended my first ever MMU awards 2010, and this event is officiated by Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah. MMU Awards 2010 is an event which is organized to give awards to clubs, society club and individual which have achieved excellence performance with high talented, discipline, hard work throughout the process of handling the event. This is to recognize their contribution towards students activities. There is different category of the awards available can be nominate, and this year MMU swimming club had nominated the Best Competition Award (Swimming Carnival 2009), Best Sportsman of the Year, and Best Sportswomen of the Year. The nomination for best sportsman and sportswomen is represent by me and Jessica Liang.

From the 3 category of awards nominated, and only one award we able to won that is the Best Sportswomen of the Year. Congratulation to Jessica Liang, you make swimming club proud. So sorry to say that I'm not winning the Best sportsmen of the Year. I know all of you really put much hope on this award especially William Tan (President of Swimming Club batch 2009/2010). But it's OK, we know we are the best !

Hopefully next year there will be more awards winning from MMU Swimming Club Cyberjaya. All the best for the next 2010/2011 batch. Break the record !

Last Exam Paper ?

Finish my last trimester final exam today. This time the exam schedule really pack, because is continuously 2 days non-stop. So, I can say that it's not enough time for me to prepare. But I think this is just a reason !

Conclusion for this final exam is first paper in the risk level, mean is pass or fail ! Second paper should be in the right level.

Pass or Fail ? Worrying about it ! Because the first paper I really can't answer much, most of the question I only able to do half. Hope the course work mark can help me to push till the passing level! Really need to bless for it. At the same time, will get ready prepare for sitting the special exam (supplementary paper).

Unable to answer most of the question is not mean that the paper is hard. This is because the thing I memorize are forgot, and end up with the answer sheet is blank ! The whole paper question is just a memorize from the lecture note, so for those people good in memorize, then to score the grade A is very easy !

I need luck and bless, if not the graduation dream will be gone !

Finally, past up the most important thing of my 4 years study in University. The mentioned most important thing is, the Final Year Project (FYP) thesis.

Thanks so much for my supervisor that help me a lot at the last day before the thesis submission. What is happen before the day of submission? Ha ha, let's me share with you all. Me, and my partner for this project staying whole night together with my supervisor at his room to edit the final thesis till morning 7.30am. Really a big thank you to him that help us edit the sentence and grammar error of the thesis. He also give a lot guide on conclusion, result and discussion, and introduction for our thesis.

Submitted the first draft of soft cover copy, and the next step is to editing the final thesis for the hard cover printing after 2 weeks of the FYP part 2 presentation.

This 2 days really make my mind thinking and worrying about the FYP !

Sports Day 2010

Most probably this will be my last swimming competition in MMU and also my involvement in swimming career, since actively in this area for almost 14 years. Finally can officially retire ;P

The sports day organize by MMU student affair which is intervasity sports games that compete between MMU Cyberjaya and MMU Malacca campus.

Since is my last competition, I not participate all the event cause on that day I also need to take part in Energizer Night Race (my previous post). Better keep the energy for it. I just join the 50m Butterfly, 200m IM and 4x50m Relay.

This 3 events I won 2 silvers and one gold medal, consider not bad. The more interesting for me is I still able to maintain my 50m Butterfly result with time 28"00 second, since long time no training.

Thanks for the relay team members that help MMU Cyberjaya won the only gold medal for this sports day. Last is to congrats all the MMU Cyberjaya team members that won the medal. Train hard for the next coming swimming competition.

Energizer Night Race 2010

Registered my first ever marathon run 10km Energizer Night Race 2010. This international event is first time organize in Malaysia (Cyberjaya), where before this had been organized at South Korea, Argentina, and South Africa.

First ever 10km run, and I able to finished the race without any half way stop with finishing time 54 minutes. Can't believe that I done it with the strong mentality! For the information, the official qualifying time is 1 hour and 30 minutes, but I end up more better than that. There is total of 2000 participants for 10km category.

This event really enjoying and special, cause we are running at the night and with the headlight provided from the Energizer. After this event, the feeling is - going to join such event more.

Putrajaya Hot Air Balloon 2010

Last weekend went to Putrajaya Hot Air Balloon with my best buddies. Here are some picture to share, not much colorful & nice Balloon, compare to last year. If you want to sit the Hot Air Balloon, the fee is RM 10 per person. But is not round around the Putrajaya, it just go up for around 50m height only then will come down. Estimated time is around 15minutes only. Not much special.

Just finish my last mid-term exam of my University life and conclusion, still able to do most of the question. Hopefully can score this paper!

Today I just count up how much times I left in University life, until 4 May 2010 12pm I only left 41 days. Wow..... look like very soon I'm going to miss and left all those my best buddies, that we always have the happiness times together :( Maybe I will bless that I will have another 10 years of University life again, but it's impossible.

Anyway, I need to accept it.

Rendezvous

Rendezvous with the senior FOM friends, almost 6 months not meet after their 2009 convocation. Since they are very busy with working life.

We went to look out point to had a dinner and celebrate Lee Pin birthday. After that we went to station one to have a drink and 'sembang-sembang' together. The 'sembang-sembang' session refreshing back the first and second year University life moment. Really miss those moment haha......

Most of them are almost working, left few of us only to complete up our last semester.

Hopefully this coming May can have a trip for another rendezvous :) see ya !

Adventure Race 2010 @ Cyberjaya & Putrajaya

Finally, our team done the Adventure Race with proud. Although we are not the top 3 winners but our team got No. 4, and the total participant is 31 teams. After the event, I can feel that the race is really challenging, where we need the team work and spirit to complete each station. Now I can know how actual the Amazing Race in TV show look like.

This event really make me enjoy and have fun. Really thanks so much to the organizer, it's worth to pay for the registration fee of RM 140 per team. Hopefully I will be taking this event again for next year.

Lastly, thanks all the team member William Tan, Sin yee, Simon, and YJ as part of the team. You all are great and awesome!

MMU Adventure Race 2010

Again I'm registered another tough event that is MMU Adventure Race which will held at this coming 27 Feb. This event is organize by IET MMU and is similar to the Amazing Race that we hear before. We need to pass through by station to station to complete the race.

My team is form up by 4 persons that is william Tan, Simon low, YJ, and me. But there is another buddy, Sin yee as our camera girl and spirit supporting for the team. Our team is given name as Brawn Team. Ha ha, is a name taken from F1 Brawn GP Team.

Week 3 of my last semester, today went to LAB to do the precipitation process for my FYP. Stay whole day inside the LAB with wearing smock and wear the mask with glove.

Me and my partner not actually know how to do it, but luckily leeping give us some guide and explanation. Gathering dinner before CNY

As usual before the Chinese new year, me, all my housemate and course mate will have a gathering dinner before head on to their home town for CNY. But this year is a bit different where we will dinner together with Wei Young, for the farewell dinner too. Because he will going to Canada for his Air Asia pilot course for the duration of 16 months at 18 Feb 2010. Then wish him all the best.

This time the dinner is again eating steamboat buffer at Sunway, but not at the Yuen any more. This one is a new place near Yuen there. It's not bad, at least there is something different for the foods.

Energizer Night Race

Registered the Energizer night race for the category Men Open 10km run. The event will held in this coming 27 March 2010 at Kelab Komuniti Taman Tasik Cyberjaya. Where this event will start at night at 9.00pm, this will really give the participants a good experience. We also will provide the headlight during the race, this will make the scene that I waiting for.

Still have around 2 more month for me to train up my self for this tough event. I need to finish it within 1 hour 30 minutes, in order to qualify with their qualifying time. Hopefully I can do it.

Last week went to Putra Stadium Bukit Jalil watch the Badminton Malaysia Open Super Series 2010. It's my first time watch the Badminton super series tournament. But I only able to went for first round match. Final round only watch it at TV live, cause back to hometown.

On that day we also meet up with Rashid Sidek , former Bronze medalist of Men single Olympic Games 1996. He is very friendly, and we are able to take picture with him.

The venue Putra Stadium will host the 2010 Thomos Cup & Uber Cup at coming May. Hopefully Malaysia team able to step till Final round, than will be there again to support.

In the end I get older one more year. Here are some my Birthday celebration for year 2010.

Session 1:

Surprising celebration from my x-house mate with me at in front of my house at mid-night. They call me out with the reason eat curry mee, but they bought me a Mc-D bugger as a cake and sing the song in front my house. ha ha..... it's special !

After that we not go eat curry mee, but is mamak....... :p

Sessions 2:

Went out with all the nano course mate to Sunway Pyramid to watch movie Woo Hoo ! Than go to eat ole ole Bali. There is also one of my course mate Burnett, same birthday with me. It's so lucky both of us.......

Sessions 3:

Celebration by swimming club committee, William, Sin yee, Jain, Jess, Khai, Simon, Bobby, and Jack. Thank you the cake that bought from Sri Petaling choose by queen jenny. After that head on to S.K for the dinner at "Tai Kar Lok". This is a night make me happy haha...... :p

Finally complete my final year project part 1 presentation, After preparing the slide for almost 3 days. What I can say to my presentation is not so good and not so bad. But I still not satisfy with my presentation skill that not enough confident.

The presentation moderator is good, cause he is not shoot me with any question. Hopefully he is satisfy with the way of my presentation, and understand part of our project.

Anyway just a thanks you to my group-mate and the supervisor, that help each others.

Part 2 of the FYP will moving on, hopefully can complete it soon.

2010 First Post

I'm back !!! After my last year post. First post of the year 2010, what to write ?

Ha ha, first wish everyone happy new year, hope everyone is healthy and all the best in everything you all do. Hope this wish will not too late.

Let start my first virgin post in this blog for the year 2010!

2010 draft:

1. January 18 will be my first day of last semester in University, hopefully all going well.

2. Will getting older another year in January 26, cause is my birthday.

3. First week of class, FYP part1 presentation

4. February Chinese New Year, where this is the moment I most like it. This is because I can meet up all the cousin, and gathering together with family, and time to eat & "Keng Kai". Some of them only one year meet once.

5. Should complete the Final Year Project report at March.

6. 6-14 March mid-trimester break. Should be a trip.

7. April, going Macau Trip with family. Yeah~~~~

8. End of April, my Final Year Project final presentation and report submission.

9. My last final exam in MMU, will complete it at 15 MAY 2010. Depend on the exam schedule release, and will officially announce that I'm graduate. Bless ........

10. Before end of May, most probably will own a second hand car with my own money, bajet 10k.

11. Will be the break after final exam, and **graduation trip. ** Still not planning. Anyones ??

12. Planning to start work at 1 June 2010. ~ if there is company hire me. If not work, will be finding some research work to earn the Master Degree.

13. June onward, step into working life

14. Multimedia University 11th Convocation should be around 31 July - 2 August 2010, those best friend must attend oh, even how busy you are. Come take the picture with me :)

15. August - December, not yet any planning. Most probably will like a Photo Copy machine, keep photo copy my working life :P

The End of 2009

Year of 2009 is going to finish, after see back all the pictures taken in this whole year, I keep smell :) . Re-fresh back all the memories I spend with the best friend.

What I done for year 2009 ? I can say just another improving of my self personal quality. This year went to internship for 4 months, what the thing I observe is the working life is totally boring. When you are in working life, your freedom time is less. Need to wake up early, then work from morning till evening and will back for bath then dinner. After that maybe there is some time for you to online, or even do your own things. Then time to sleep, another repeating cycle. The only day you will love it is weekend and public holiday. When you are in working environment, you need to see others people face to work, this is what I really don't like it. But what to do, this is life. I need to pass through all this experience to achieve another level.

The peoples ~ Well this whole year I can say that I had been look clearly all the peoples around me and I would like to say, friend no need much, just need a friend in quality not quantity. Even there are only 5 friends in my life, there is enough for me, as long as "朋友要讲义气! "

University life ~ As usual, I had change my self the way of study to the way of more enjoy and lepaking. As long as the way I enjoy is in the right direction. Study is part of my duty to complete up my Bachelor degree and maintain my CGPA too.

Investment ~ This year also keep doing some research on the investment in, house, currency, gold prices, and some other share. Time to generate money from money.

Blog ~ This year start set up my own blog, where this is to improve my English writing skill since my grammar is totally like shit. Hope through writing the blog, my grammar will improve. Another reason is to earn money from ads. But it is hard to earn, where you need a lot visitor to view your blog daily.

Best buddy ~ The whole year of 2009 really spend a lot happening times with William and Queen Jenny, where both of you are really my first class couple. ha ha :p Even though go out with both of you, I will never feel that I'm the light bulb. wa ka ka.......

Event director ~ This year I had been given an opportunity to be a MMU swimming carnival director, well I can say that really a challenging task for me. But the event won't be successful and happening without the peoples, I should thank thousand to :

Trips ~ Where I went for this year? When flash back all the picture, the places I went is Pulau Langkawi, Pulau Payar, Sunway Lagoon,....... Owh ! Not much oh, but went to a lot place to try the nice food.

Money ~ Start to know that money is very important. This year really spend a lot money compare to previous year. How much ? Ha ha never count. Money can be everything but sometime the money cannot be everything. So, spend the money in the right ways.

Politic ~ Is totally disappointed with the current Barisan Nasional government. When the Pakatan Rakyat want to heading to Putrajaya ?

Life ~ Do what ever I want to do, no matter how others comment, as long as I happy with what I done.

Sunway Lagoon Trip 2009

Last 2 week, before final exam I had join the MMU swimming club to Sunway Lagoon Trip.

Well, this trip just to relax up my self before the exam is coming. After the Sunway Lagoon, we go to Yuen steamboat. This is a good idea from william, since everyone is very.... very hungry after playing the whole day, so we can eat as much as we can.

Final Exam Done !

Finally, finish my Epsilon year trimester 2 2009/2010 session final exam. How the exam performance ?? I can say not perform well. Today, the question came out most of them are theory question. I not really memorize all the thing, cause I more expect the question is calculation. In the end I died in all those theory part, most of the question do half half only. This time really "kao lat la" ! Just bless !

What going to do ?? One month holiday, and will stay at Cyber this week for doing my FYP. Hope there will be some progression.

Another semester to go, and to complete up my Bachelor Degree. Times to enjoy next semester "kao kao" before going for the working environment.

Second Last Final Exam in Uni Life

This week will be my final exam. Where the first paper is at 17/12/2009 (Badminton) - coco, and the last paper will be 19/12/2009 ( Advanced Fabrication Technology).

As usual I will appear offline, invisible for my MSN & YM!, but most of the time will be away from my computer. Just when feel boring, then will listen to the music a while and facebook.

How was the preparation ?? I can say that not going well. Ha ha...... this 3 days when studying "something" keep appear on my mind, and really make me can't concentration on it..... hai :)

Even though is 2 subjects but, I assume that I'm taking one subject only. This is because the Badminton-coco, I still not yet touch anything. I prefer to use the last day, where it is at 17/12/2009 to study all the note and go exam, because the exam is at 8pm night. ~~ first time final exam at night.

Hope that this sem can work well on final exam, to push the CGPA up.
